Profile EU Movement

Background: Europabevegelsen (EB) is The European Movement in Norway, an organisation open to all political, economical, social and cultural trends in civil society. In their opinion Norway should become member of The European Union.

Challenge: EB needed to redesign their own profile, but also develop an independent profile for Ja-siden; a campaign oriented association of pro European organisations in Norway. So it was important to create 2 profiles that differentiate and are strong on their own, but also work together when needed.

Solution: We developed a profile for EB, which is toned down with a logo-font based on a strong elipse form and calm colours, but where there is no doubt who the dispatcher is. The profile reflects the organization's seriousness and weight. The profile for Ja-siden on the other hand is created as a campaign profile and therefore much more colourful and bold. The logo-type is customized and put into a button form, which is a known symbol for being engaged. This form therefore underlines the campaign orientated profile.
