Hello, my name is
Background: Elevorganisasjonen (EO) is a special interest organization for pupils and apprentices in upper secondary education. They have 355 school members and represent a total of 150 000 pupils. Each year, EO developes a political school campaign and this year, the aim was to inform all pupils about their right to be evaluated individually. SKIN was asked to help them with the task to inspire and activate the pupils to know more about their rights and act accordingly.
Challenge: SKIN knows that one has to speak to the target group and this time, we had to talk to young people which is always quite a challenge. Moreover, the material to be communicated was heavy and could kill every normal pupils interest in a second if presented the wrong way.
Solution: We wanted to talk directly to the pupils, engaging and involving them in the campaign and make it their own. The concept Hello my name is ... is based on the idea that every pupil is different and the need to tell their teacher about who they are. The goal was to give the pupils easy access to the needed information and the aims to act on it. By using humour, and material which was easy to understand, we helped them on their way to get a better everyday life at school.
